New Zealand scholar undertakes attachment with NORPHCAM (Dec 10) |
Dr. Ramaprabhu Vempati (Research Leader, Wellpark College of Natural Therapies, Auckland) has undertaken an attachment with NORPHCAM at the School of Population Health, University of Queensland as part of the NORPHCAM Research Capacity Building Program. Dr Vempati completed research training and collaborative project activities while visiting Brisbane in early December 2010. The 2 week placement provided an excellent opportunity for the New Zealand and Australian team members to conduct and plan a sustainable research partnership to help build successful public health CAM scholarship across the two countries. A number of peer-review journal articles have been drafted from the immediate collaboration and the visit helped solidify a developing relationship between Wellpark College in New Zealand and the NORPHCAM network.
