NORPHCAM Executive Plenary Speakers at Brazilian forum (May 2021) |
Professor Jon Adams and Associate Professor Alex Broom were invited international speakers at the First Brazilian Forum on Integrative Medicine in Health Care (held April 2021 in Rio de Janeiro). The Forum attracted a wide delegation including Brazilian Goverment health department representatives, academics, researchers and students, and members from the Brazilian Collective Health Association. The two-day event showcased a number of projects and research designs for developing integrative health care in both Brazil and internationally and Professor Adams and Associate Professor Broom overviewed the essential contribution of public health and health services research to advancing this important topin in Brazil.
