Dugald Seely is a naturopathic doctor and director of research at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Dr Seely is the principal investigator for six funded research projects relevant to naturopathic medicine including three clinical trials. Dugald is the Editor-in-Chief for the newly relaunched International Journal of Naturopathic Medicine (IntJNM) and is dedicated to help build the research capacity within the naturopathic profession. Dr Seely’s main interests lie in conducting primary research on complementary therapies used by naturopathic doctors with a focus on integrative cancer care. Dr Seely has also conducted and/or supervised systematic reviews and meta-analyses covering a wide range of therapies within the scope of naturopathic medicine for different chronic diseases. Dr Seely has given invited talks at numerous conferences and conventions across Canada and internationally and has published research abstracts widely at professional conferences. Dr Seely currently sits on Health Canada’s Expert Advisory Committee for the Vigilance of Health Products as well as being an active member of the Member of the NCIC funded CCAM (Cancer and Complementary & Alternative Medicine) Research Team
