NORPHCAM develops exciting links in Indonesia (May 2021)

News >>

A delegation of NORPHCAM Executive and members were recently invited to Indonesia to develop partnerships and collaborations on a number of fronts. NORPHCAM Executive presented plenary talks at the International Conference for Research and Application of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Health Care held at the Muhhamadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), Central Java, Indonesia in late June 2012.

In addition, NORPHCAM and the Public Health Association of Australia Special Interest Group in Evidence, Research and Policy in Complementary Medicine held talks with IAKMI (Indonesian Public Health Association), UMS and the Ministry of Health, Indonesian Government to explore a number of collaborations (including PhD and Faculty visits). We are currently in process of developing MOUs and partnerships between these groups/stakeholders and we look forward to announcing an agenda for sustainable collaborations to ensure critical public health and health services research of TCAM in Indonesia.
